Bookworms and Boston-lovers—head to Alba on Tuesday, June 7th when the Quincy restaurant hosts authors Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge for a roofdeck film screening. The evening will celebrate the pair’s non-fiction account of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, Boston Strong, and Sherman’s The Finest Hours, written with Michael Tougias about the 1952 Coast Guard rescue off Massachusetts’ coast. There’ll be cocktails inspired by the books and complimentary hors d’oeuvres, including shellfish, sushi and prime beef bites. The authors will discuss the works (with autographed copies available for purchase) followed by a screening of The Finest Hours film, some of which was filmed in Quincy.
