A Taste of the South Shore

South Shore YMCA

You can give your favorite South Shore chefs – and the YMCA, too while you’re at it – a little love at this year’s Taste of the South Shore. The annual gathering of who’s who in the southlands, scheduled for Wednesday, April 26th, will be meeting one last time in the iconic ballroom at Lombardo’s in Randolph (before they close their doors later this year), so don’t miss your chance to stroll through the elegant space as you nibble on dishes from the likes of Paul Wahlberg of Alma Nove, Jimmy Liang and Ming Cao of JP Fuji group, Mark Ellis of the Chef’s Table, Tony Dirienzo of Novara and plenty more. All in all there will be more than 30 restaurants, bakeries, breweries and distilleries representing and vying for Top Taste. you can fuel up between bites with sips of wine, local craft beer and cocktail tastings. Grab a ticket here for $125 per person; you also can feel great about your fun night out because funds raised from the event go towards the South Shore YMCA‘s “Y Kids” and other children’s programming and camps. The good times start rolling at 6:00pm, so don’t be late and miss out on any of the action. If you can’t make it this year, you can still send the SSYMCA a little support by contributing here, which will make the Y more accessible for anyone needing financial assistance.
