Chef Mario LaPosta of da LaPosta in Newton spent quite a lot of time learning how to make his fabulous wood-fired pizzas as an apprentice in Rome, and you can get an even deeper dive into the food of The Eternal City at a special Taste of Rome dinner on Tuesday, May 9th at 6:30pm. Spots are filling up extremely fast for this five-course feast featuring dishes like Pizza Al Taglio with quattro formaggi and Roman artichokes; and Ravioli with Oxtail A La Tavernaccia with braised oxtail, pomodoro and celery (check out the full menu below).

Nick Mucci from Mucci Imports will be stopping by for the evening as well, and bringing along some hand-selected and sourced wines directly from the Lazio wine region of Italy. Dinner is $125 per person and you can grab a spot here.
