On Sunday, March 3rd, Sumiao Hunan Kitchen is spicing up your brunchtime with A Pinch of Ginger, a flavorful, musical charity brunch that benefits the Joslin Diabetes Center. Come enjoy a big buffet spread of diabetes-friendly Hunanese dishes like steamed fish dumplings, snow pea shrimp, and lava fish over ginger-centric cocktails from the cash bar (like the moscato-based Ginger Spritz, $8). A live band will be serving up a healthy portion of jazz all afternoon, and proceeds from the event will all go to the Asian American Diabetes Initiative.
