A Celebration of the Food and Wine of Friuli

WTC, an organization dedicated to promoting the unique foods and wines of Italy’s Friuli region, will be sponsoring a wine reception and four-course dinner at Bricco on Monday, November 17th starting at 7:00pm. More than two dozen white and red wines from Friuli-Venezia-Giulia will be poured that evening, representing the best of the region’s tocais, ribolla giallas, refoscos, terranos, ramandolos and more. Bricco executive chef Marisa Iocco has planned a menu showcasing typical Friulian ingredients: Prosciutto San Daniele (with apple confit in tocai), Montasio cheese (in fricco and in risotto with radicchio), smoked duck (braised with fall vegetables, polenta concia and ricotta “bon-bons”), and fruits (apple-pear strudel with almonds & Malvasia creme fraiche).
