For the seventh year running, 80 Thoreau is rolling out its super-seasonal, end-of-summer prix fixe featuring local corn and tomatoes. The four-course menu from chef Carolyn Johnson costs $45 per person and will run for a solid three weeks through Saturday, September 8th. This year’s offerings include a panna cotta first course followed by tomato soup, pan roasted hake and a cornmeal pound cake for dessert (though, of course, Johnson reserves the right to mix things up should the mood strike).
