Chefs from Beacon Hill’s most elite eateries head to the Ritz Carlton on Wednesday, May 3rd for the 6th annual Taste of Beacon Hill. This year’s event features samples from spots like the 75 Chestnut Street, Beacon Hill Bistro, blu at The Sports Club LA, Figs, Grotto, Hungry I, JER-NE, No. 9 Park, Scollay Square and The Upper Crust, as well as a Iron Chef Competition, in which teams of participating chefs will compete to create multi-course meals with a “mystery basket” of ingredients. Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet will be emceeing the competition, while judges (Jane Black of Boston Magazine and Chris May of WHDH Channel 7, for starters) will determine the winner. Proceeds from the year’s event benefit the Taste of Beacon Hill Scholarship Fund.
