Boston Seafood Festival

Take to the seas with the 4th annual Boston Seafood Festival on Sunday, August 2nd. The day-long, family-friendly festival, which takes place on the Boston Fish Pier, celebrates New England’s maritime history with tastings, clambakes, chef demos and more. The schedule runs 11:00am-6:00pm and includes educational talks on sustainability, nutrition and safe fishing practices as well as chefly competitions like the Battle of the Shuckers, a fish cutting contest and a seafood cook-off. Chefs like Jose Duarte of Taranta and Nick Calias of Brasserie Jo will face-off in a blind basket cooking contest to show off their seafood chops and restaurants like Loco Taqueria and Temazcal will be on-hand, serving up seaside dishes. Tickets for the event, available online here, are $15 each with options including lobster bake tickets for an additional $35 each or VIP tickets for $80 each (including admission, lobster bake, 2 beverages and a tote bag).
