1st Annual Poe’s Kitchen Burrito Bowl

The Patriots may not be bound for the Super Bowl but some of your favorite chefs are gearing up for game day at the first ever Burrito Bowl, scheduled for Saturday, February 5th. Chef Brian Poe of Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake is bringing together top burrito makers for a throwdown of epic proportions. Chefs Laura Henry-Zoubir of Church and The Regal Beagle, Jose Duarte of Taranta, Andy Husbands of Tremont 647, Jason Hutchinson of Boloco, Erwin Ramos of Olé Mexican Grille and Jason Santos of Gargoyles on the Square will be serving up an edible homage to their favorite NFL team. Each offering will then be rated by attendees and Burrito Bowl referees Josh Walovitch, the Boston Herald‘s “Burrito Boy,” Dan McCarthy of UrbanDaddy and Jenny Johnson of TV Diner. Whichever creation ranks the highest will have the honor of being served at the following day’s Super Bowl party at Poe’s Kitchen, and, of course, bragging rights. The festivities run from 1:00-4:00pm and cost a mere $15 per person. Purchase your tickets in advance by calling 617.859.7772 or get them at the door day-of.
