Champagne needn’t be reserved only for celebratory occasions – or so says chef Nick Speros of Gloucester’s 197 East Main. Join him on Tuesday, March 9th for his Any-Excuse-To-Drink-Champagne Dinner. Andrew Ehrlich from Classic Wine Imports will be on hand to add his expertise and his enthusiasm to the mix. The cost of the five-course dinner is $80 per person exclusive of tax and gratuity. Expect dishes like scallop ceviche with local crab and truffle crisp; tender pork with bone marrow sauce and creamy polenta; herb basted loin of venison, chestnut puree & heirloom apple; and mini Chocolate Aphrodite with whipped crème fraiche.
