Enlisting the help of nearly fifty Boston area restaurants, Community Servings throws its 16th annual LifeSavor benefit on Thursday, March 27th. The fundraising fun, known as Boston’s Best Dinner Party with a Conscience, begins with a cocktail reception at the Langham Hotel. For dinner, guests, in groups of ten, will be chauffeured by Old Town Trolleys to one of the participating restaurants to enjoy a multi-course meal with accompanying wines, before returning to the Langham for dessert from Café Fleuri’s famed Chocolate Bar. Tickets for the event cost $300 apiece and proceeds support Community Servings, a Boston-based organization that provides free home-delivered meals to people who are unable to shop or cook for themselves due to a life-threatening illness like HIV/AIDS or cancer.
