Spend your weekend sipping wines from around the world at the 16th annual Boston Wine Expo, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, February 10th and 11th at the World Trade Center Boston. Whether you need an introduction to wine or are looking to enhance your appreciation, the Expo’s Grand Tasting has something for everyone, with more than 450 international wineries, pouring more than 1800 wines from 1:00-5:00pm. Be sure to stroll by either of the two cooking demo stages to see your favorite local chefs in action – the lineup includes Jay Murray of Grill 23 & Bar, Todd English of Olives, Bonfire and Kingfish Hall, Michael Schlow of Radius, Great Bay and Via Matta, Daniel Bruce of Meritage at the Boston Harbor Hotel, Kevin Crawley of Sharon’s Coriander Bistro, Gordon Hamersley of Hamersley’s Bistro, Marc Orfaly of Pigalle and Marco and Anthony Caturano of Prezza and Copia. One day tickets for the Grand Tasting cost $70 each (a two day ticket costs $105).
