On Thursday, January 15th take a trip out to the Logan Airport Hilton and revel in the culinary delights of East Boston at the Taste of Eastie 2009. This tasting event which showcases treats from eateries like Alia Ristorante, Angela’s Café, Ecco, El Buen Gusto and Hot Diggity, among plenty of others. The evening of eats, which also incorporates a live auction and basket raffle, isn’t just a fun way to wile away a cold winter night, it’s also for a good cause. Proceeds from each $35 ticket support East Boston Main Streets, a non-profit organization which helps facilitate neighborhood revitalization projects. The fun runs from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
