A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Dutson brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for regional cuisine and local ingredients to Revere Hotel Boston Common, the award-winning Rooftop@Revere and Rebel’s Guild, the hotel’s newly debuted full-service restaurant.
Dutson brings a unique skill set to the Revere Hotel Boston Common team, with an impressive resume that spans front of house management and executive chef roles from independent restaurants to large-scale urban hotels. His culinary talents earned AAA 4-Diamond Achievement Awards at Octagon and VIVO in Connecticut where he previously helmed the kitchen as executive chef.
In his current role at the Revere Hotel Boston Common, Dutson serves up creative interpretations of New England classics that showcase the freshest local bounty. In addition to Rooftop@Revere and Rebel’s Guild, he is the driving culinary force behind Revere Hotel Boston Common’s banquet kitchen for their private event services. His philosophy is to create a menu that is both balanced and diverse, that offers flavors to excite and delight every guest.
Dutson resides in Woodstock, Connecticut, with his wife Jennifer and daughter Eliza Jane. In his spare time you can find him outdoors, where he enjoys hiking with his daughter, long-distance biking, sea-kayaking, scuba diving, and flying aerobatics or formation as a private pilot.
