The Merchant
Lunch, dinner or after work drinks, The Merchant has all your Downtown Crossing al fresco dining needs covered with their their seasonal patio. Situated in a little parklet right in front of the restaurant and outfitted with expansive umbrellas, it'll be your summer go-to when you're out-and-about in the city.
Nebo Cucina & Enoteca
Whether you're seeking respite from a busy day, the bustling Financial District or walking from the waterfront, NEBO's sidewalk patio offers a lovely perch from which to take in the greenery on the Rose Kennedy Greenway - paired with a bottle of wine and authentic Italian fare, of course.
Para Maria
The Envoy Hotel boasts two fabulous outdoor dining areas: Para Maria's greenery-laced streetside patio, perfect for summer sipping and snacking, as well as their skyhigh rooftop bar, The Lookout, which boasts masterfully made drinks, spectacular views of the sparkling cityscape and Boston Harbor, and, come cold weather, cozy igloos so you can stay warm while you socialize.
Stillwater
Chef-owner Sarah Wade welcomes diners on the Stillwater patio with a menu of mouthwatering, Southern-inflected comfort foods. Grab one of the tables on the spacious terrace to enjoy a delicious meal surrounded by greenery, then enjoy a postprandial stroll on the adjacent Rose Kennedy Greenway.
Trade
After a trip to the New England Aquarium or a tour through Faneuil Hall, you can take a load off at Jody Adams' Trade. Located in the heart of the city, the restaurant’s large sidewalk patio sports a nice view of the Rose Kennedy Greenway and is a great place to refuel over Greek plates from a James Beard Award-winning chef.
