Named for the historic Via Giulia in Rome, where husband and wife team Michael Pagliarini and Pamela Ralston officially decided to move forward with their restaurant plans, Giulia brings Italian vigor and charm to the stretch of Massachusetts Avenue between Porter and Harvard Squares in Cambridge. Blending spirited cooking and gracious hospitality, the intimate Italian eatery focuses their attention on providing exceptional service and wonderful food – especially pasta.

Hand-made pastas are the backbone of the menu and the pasta table is the heart and soul of the restaurant. Custom-built from reclaimed white oak, the table serves a dual purpose. By day it’s an extension of the kitchen used to roll out the wide array of pastas that are featured on the menu. By night, it’s a lovely spot to enjoy dinner, surrounded by pasta-making tools of the trade, which are on display nearby.
