Bulgogi – Korean Beef BBQ

Ingredients

For the beef  
  • 1 pound rib eye steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons beef stock
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    For the vegetables  
  • 1/4 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/4 cup scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup bell peppers, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 cups glass noodles, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
   

Directions

For the vegetables  
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sweat until it's fragrant.
  2. Add in all the other vegetables and stir fry for 3 minutes. Then, add in the cooked glass noodles and continue to stir fry for another 1-2 minutes. Add in the rest of the seasonings and mix well.
    For the beef  
  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl, and marinate the beef for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat a gas grill until it reaches around 300-350 degrees. Grill the meat until both sides turn slightly brown. Slice the beef and serve atop the glass noodles and vegetables.
