Craigie on Main presents gems of the German wine world with a Weingut Peter Lauer dinner on Thursday, May 7th. Owner Florian Lauer will be at the Cambridge spot to pour (at least) eight tastes of the vineyard’s cult classic dry and off-dry Rieslings. Chef Tony Maws has crafted a six-course prix fixe to accompany the Saar region wines, some of them a rare find. Somerville’s Wine & Cheese Cask, located across from Kirkland Tap & Trotter, will offer each of the bottles for a limited time after the event to dinner attendees only.
