L’Espalier cordially invites you to a Nepali tea dinner on Sunday, May 31st to help raise earthquake relief funds. Chef Frank McClelland has prepared a five-course prix fixe for pairing with delicate Nepali teas (often compared to Darjeeling), with menu items like a spring beet salad and tea-smoked Long Island duck breast. The evening, which begins at 6:00pm, includes a guest speaker and a silent auction featuring a private pastry class with chef Jared Bacheller, a class with the World Tea Academy, hotel stays, a trip to Indian tea estates and plenty of rare teas and tea accessories. All proceeds from the auction, and part of the $125 per person dinner cost, will be donated to those in need in Nepal. Call 617.262.3023 to make your reservation.
