Free on Thursday? The folks at Fairsted Kitchen are welcoming their friends from Washington State’s Fausse Piste for dinner in Washington Square. On Thursday, April 30th at 8:00pm, chef Jason Albus rolls out the first of four family-style courses designed to match with wines from owner and winemaker Jesse Skiles’ prized (and prize-winning) wines. The former chef, who founded Fausse Piste as a “custom crush” for his Portland restaurant, Sauvage, is now a fulltime winemaker, producing super small batches (less than 1000 cases) in his urban winery right in the middle of Portland. Dinner costs $65 per person not including tax or gratuity. Give Fairsted Kitchen a call at 617.396.8752 to save your seat at the (communal) table.
