On Thursday, April 23rd, Sportello welcomes chef Marc Vetri to the kitchen for an evening of Italian cooking from the pasta maestro. In celebration of Vetri’s new cookbook, Mastering Pasta: The Art and Practice of Handmade Pasta, Gnocchi, and Risotto, he’ll take over the stoves at Sportello with chef de cuisine David Cavilla to serve up delicious dishes right from the cookbook. The night kicks off at 6:30pm with a reception where guests can meet the chef, snack on hors d’oeuvres and sip Prosecco and Negronis (made by Ezra Star, of Drink.) Dinner begins at 7:00pm with four delicious courses paired with wines by James Beard Award-winning wine director Cat Silirie.
