Pahlmeyer Pours at Blue Ginger

Ming Tsai showcases the wines of Jayson Pahlmeyer, who took the non-traditional route to winemaking, at a paired wine dinner on Tuesday, April 21st at Blue Ginger. Pahlmeyer was a trial attorney before following his passion for wine, a journey that included consultations with viticultural professors at the University of Bordeaux and smuggling vine clones into the States (it’s a long story). Dinner guests can sip on his groundbreaking wines while enjoying a six-course prix fixe from Tsai. Dishes like crab-crusted salmon go well with a Pahlmeyer Chardonnay while Tsai’s smoked leg of lamb with orange-lychee honey glaze is a great match for a red Napa Valley wine.
