Ancient grains get a new lease on life when Jason Bond teams up with Maria Speck for a four-course dinner on Monday, April 20th. The Bondir chef-owner will cook up a special prix fixe menu inspired by Speck’s new cookbook, Simply Ancient Grains: Fresh and Flavorful Whole Grain Recipes for Living Well. Speck knows her whole grains and her first cookbook, Ancient Grains for Modern Meals, was received with critical acclaim (including the Julia Child Award). The evening starts with a 6:00pm reception before the sit-down meal at 6:30pm. Dinner, plus a signed copy of Speck’s cookbook, is available for $85 per person and Bondir Concord will donate $5 per person to Slow Food Boston. Call 978.610.6554 to make your reservation.
