Marathon runners and race enthusiasts can get their fill at Beat Brasserie on Sunday, April 19th and Monday, April 20th. A pre-race carbo load will take place on Sunday from 5:30pm-12:00am with plenty of healthy fare like the Bowl Azteca and the Earth Bowl—grain-based dishes chock-full of vegetables, available for $23 each. While the racers (and fans) load up, musician Greg Hopkins and his orchestra will take the stage from 7:00-11:00pm for a Duke Ellington tribute. Guests can head back to Beat on Marathon Monday for a special race day brunch, available from 10:00am-3:00pm and accompanied by live bluegrass and country music. Dishes include wild flower honey and lemon pancakes, and corned beef hash with poached eggs. Call 617.499.0001for more information.
