Get ready to pig out on lamb at the sixth annual Boston Lamb Jam coming to the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Sunday, April 12th. In true Lamb Jam fashion, the best chefs in Boston, Portland, Providence and Portsmouth will be on hand and cooking up tasty plates of American lamb in pursuit of the title of Lamb Jam Boston Champion. The lineup includes many Boston favorites like ArtBar, Bistro du Midi, The Red Lion Inn, Brasserie 28, The Terrace at the Charlotte Inn, La Brasa, Sweet Cheeks Q, Ashmont Grill, Henrietta’s Table, The Fireplace, Brine and Russell House Tavern. Providence powerhouses Cook & Brown Public House, The Salted Slate and Gracie’s will be on hand in an effort to take the title for Rhode Island. Portsmouth entries include Cava and Moxy while Emilitsa, Central Provisions and Piccolo will hold it down for Portland. Great beer will also be available at this event with local favorites like Mystic Brewery, Ipswich Ale, Harpoon, Slumbrew, Narrangansett, Smuttynose and Blue Hills among many others pouring samples. The afternoon tasting (which also includes an interactive photo booth, DIY lamb spice rub station and more) takes place 3:00-6:00pm. Tickets are just $60 each and they’re available online here.
