Passover, Fermented

For a Seder dinner like you‘ve never had before, head to Met Back Bay on Monday, March 30th for a fermented Passover meal courtesy of Kitchen Kibitz and Boston Ferments. Geoff Lukas, formerly of Sofra Bakery, and potter Jeremy Ogusky of Ogusky Ceramics have joined forces to give the traditional Seder menu a whole new twist. The lightly kosher meal (no mixing of meat and dairy) will feature fermented courses that represent the unique components of the Seder plate, like wheat berry matzot with pickled squash relish. As a bonus, Ogusky has handcrafted ceramic Seder plates for sharing the meal and you’ll get your own to take home. Tickets for the dinner, which runs from 7:30-9:00pm, include fermented beverage pairings. Pick up however many you like (for $80 each) online here.
