You’ve heard of farm-fresh foods, but what about farm-fresh drinks? Mass Farmers Markets challenges local bartenders to shake up a CSA-inspired beverage with their 2nd Annual Farm to Glass Mixology Throwdown on Saturday, April 18th. Bartenders from Armsby Abbey, Canary Square, Fairsted Kitchen, La Brasa, The Salty Pig and W Boston Lounge will compete for the championship title and you get to pick your round one favorites from 10 locally sourced cocktail samples. The top three mixologists will move on to the mystery CSA challenge, with three guests chosen as their bar backs, to be judged by Stephanie Cmar and Michael Ratty, among others. Tickets are $65 each and proceeds benefit the Mass Farmers Markets, which manages the Copley Square Farmers Market. The afternoon runs from 1:00-3:30pm and you can snag your tickets online here.
