Australia comes to Boston on Monday, February 23rd with the fifth installment of the Mick Dundee Meat Pie Challenge. Hosted by Harpoon Brewery and East Boston’s resident meat pie expert, Sam Jackson of KO Pies, the event features some of the best chefs in the city. Watch and taste as chefs from spots like The Salty Pig, Park, Temple Bar, Tavolo, Ashmont Grill, Pennypacker’s and La Brasa present their best Aussie-inspired pies. The winner gets bragging rights, an awesome belt and a check for $2,000 to donate to their favorite local charity. One ticket covers admission for up to 4 people, including a Harpoon beer for every person in your party and 12 mini-pies to be divvied up however you choose. The fun starts at 6:00pm and last call is at 9:30pm. Tickets are $64.29, including a processing fee, and are selling out fast. They won’t be available at the door so get yours here to get your fill of meat pies.
