JP Beer Garden sets up shop in Somerville for the evening, taking over the kitchen at Kirkland Tap & Trotter on Sunday, February 22nd. Marrieds Owen Royce-Nagel and Lizzie Szczepaniak, two thirds of the team behind the forthcoming Jamaica Plain restaurant, met at Craigie Street Bistrot way back in the day and they’ve enlisted a few of their fellow Tony Maws-molded alum to join them for a late night pop-up. The fun start at 9:00pm and is expected to run until midnight-ish. Also to be expected: beer flights and a small, a la carte menu of shareable goodies including a few treats from their talented friends. There are no reservations to be made or tickets to be had. Just drop by after 9:00 on Sunday to see what they’ve got in store for their JP spot.
