Lovers of Indian food and the Food Network have a special treat coming. On Monday, September 22nd, Tremont 647 will take a night off from its usual fare for a special Indian prix fixe dinner. Chef Andy Husbands will team up with special guest, Chef Renita Mendonca for a night of traditional Indian cuisine and cocktails inspired by the flavors of South Asia.  Mendonca, a native of Mumbai, is a world travelling chef and the owner of the catering company Seasoned and Spiced (And a contestant on Chopped, for all you Food Network junkies.)  This night promises to be an interesting exploration of classic Indian dishes.  The event will kick off with a reception at 6:00pm with dinner to follow at 6:30pm.  Dinner costs $29 (alcohol, tax and tip not included) and reservations can be made by calling 617.266.4600.
