A Night in Colombia for a Cause

Chef Brian Poe and his partners at The Tip Tap Room are hosting A Night in Colombia, their first Chefs for Clefts fundraiser, on Monday, August 25th. Join the festivities and you’ll be transported to South America with Colombian music, complimentary cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres like summer corn and cheese arepas, empanadas and ceviche de camarones. Tickets, available online here, are either $40 or $500 for high rollers who’d like $100 gift certificates to The Tip Tap and all of its sister restaurants (Estelle’s Poe’s Kitchen, Bukowski Tavern, Lower Depths or Parish Café). Funds from ticket sales and the evening’s silent auction (which includes dinners for ten, generously donated and cooked by Chris Coombs, Andy Husbands and Michael Scelfo) benefit Massachusetts General Hospital’s Global Surgical Initiative, specifically, Dr. Jay Austen’s efforts on behalf of children with facial deformities and cleft lips, and burn victims. Get your tickets and get ready for a Night in Colombia.
