L’Espalier and tea sommelier Cynthia Gold are commemorating the Boston Tea Party with a tea-infused, five-course dinner on Sunday, December 14th. The tea used in the dinner will be the same blends that the Sons of Liberty threw into the harbor way back in 1773 and chef Matt Delisle has created a menu of New England classics like chowder and Yankee pot roast to accompany the teas. Pearl Dexter, the founding editor of Tea Magazine, will also be on hand to talk about the role that tea played in the country’s quest for independence.
