A Weekend’s Worth of V-Day Fun

ust in case you show up empty handed on Thursday – what, no flowers? – Tavolo is extending the romance of Valentine’s Day right through the weekend. On Saturday the 16th the Chris Douglass restaurant is hosting a couples cooking class where you and your sweetie can learn how to create beet ravioli, rack of lamb and a few sides. The demo and post class wine-pared luncheon costs $120 per couple – reserve your spots by calling 617.822.1918. Later in the day, local guitarist Ryan Beke will be in the lounge, providing a little mood music from 6:00 to 9:00pm. Lastly, Sunday Supper gets a V-Day twist from chef Nuno Alves. Bring the brood down to enjoy three courses of festive family-style fare for just $22 per person. Of course, if you forget during the weekend too, well, we just can’t help you.
