Scheduled for Wednesday, January 9th, the monthly dinner series kicks off the new year with an in-depth (by which we mean four-course) exploration of New England Shellfish. The dinner, which takes place in Harvest’s private dining room, costs $44 per person (including paired wines) and gets underway at 6:00pm. What’s this Camera-Shy Cooker Doing on Top Chef? - There’s no shortage of chefs on TV. But chef Dante de Magistris would just as soon be behind the line at any of the three restaurants (dante, il Casale Belmont and il Casale Lexington) he owns with his two brothers, Damian and Filippo. Although he’s declined invitations to try out to be a cheftestant, he did recently welcome the Top Chef team to his Belmont spot, which happens to be housed in a former firehouse (which may or may not be relevant to the episode).
