Pig Out at Chinatown Newbie Shojo

Shojo, the subterranean sister restaurant to Chinatown stalwart China Pearl, endears itself further on Wednesday, September 19th with its inaugural pig roast. RSVP (it’s required) for either the 6:00pm or 9:00pm seating, and choose between the five or eight-course prix fixe (for $50 or $80, respectively). They’re still working on the details but we’re told there might be crispy pig ear salad; black rice vinegar ham hocks; and handmade tagliatelle with pork meatball among the offerings. Beverage pairings, of the alcoholic variety, are available for an additional $50 per person. Reserve a spot online here.
