The Best Night of the Year

On Sunday, June 24th the Cape and Islands United Way hosts the fourteenth annual fundraiser, humbly titled The Best Night of the Year. Philanthropic guests can sample a selection of lovely wines and beer as well as fare from a collection of Cape restaurants – places like Pain D’Avignon and Regatta of Cotuit are prepping their plates already. The evening will also include live music, an auction and keynote speech from former Boston Celtic Chris Herren. There’ll even be a fabulous firework display to cap things off. This superlative night takes place at the Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee. Tickets, available online, cost $150 apiece, the proceeds from which go to benefit over thirty human service organizations on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
