Rustic Kitchen’s Friday Night Cooking Show

As mild as this winter has been so far, it’s practically programmed into every New Englander’s DNA to crave hearty braised dishes during the colder months. Cue: Rustic Kitchen‘s Slow and Low installments of their Friday night Cooking Show. Throughout February and March, chef Elizabeth Bramwell will be walking guests through a menu of winter citrus salad, and slow braised beef short ribs with wild mushroom risotto. The meal will be paired with Ergo Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain. Tickets to the weekly dinner/cooking class, which gets underway at 7:00pm in the cozy Park Square cooking studio, cost $75 apiece and must be purchased in advance by calling 617.423.5700. There are bound to be a few more chilly days (no matter what the groundhog says) before spring arrives – be prepared.
