Bargain Bites - Unbelievable dining deals at Boston's best restaurants
With a hint of fall in the air, chef-owner Jim Solomon gets busy stacking firewood and mapping out this year’s schedule for Fireside Chats at The Fireplace. The Saturday afternoon series welcomes an array of experts – farmers, vintners, brewers and the like – for an educational get together in front of the fire, exploring seasonal topics like pinot noirs as fall arrives and sparkling wines just in time for the holidays. Chats generally take place from 3:00-4:15 and cost between $25 and $30. Reservations aren’t required but it’s never a bad idea to let them know you’re coming.
