Spirited Fashion at The Hawthorne

Fashion Week may be mostly about clothes, but there are plenty of types of design to admire. In fact, in celebration of Boston Fashion Week, Kenmore Square’s pantheon to potent potables is looking to a particularly fetching piece of furniture for inspiration. From Thursday, September 27th through Saturday, October 6th The Hawthorne will offer The Masters Chair cocktail, a combination of Weller Bourbon, Cherry Heering, Linie Aquavit and bitters, on their bookmark menu. Inspirited by the Kartell Masters Chair that is part of the bar’s décor, the cocktail mixes Finnish, Danish and American spirits just as the chair’s design draws from silhouettes by Jacobsen, Saarinen and Eames. The Cocktail is priced at $12 – call 617.532.9150 to see if there’s space for you at the bar.
