Mark Oldman Comes to UpStairs

Let's face it, wine is a language of its own, and while most of us love to drink it, most of us are far from fluent in it. To help the average person, Mark Oldman, renown wine personality, has written a book in a style that Bon Appétit calls "wine speak without the geek". His down-to-earth approach to wine reveals wine secrets in a way that everyone can understand and appreciate. Harvard Book Store and UpStairs on the Square will be welcoming the wine guru to present his book on Thursday, September 9th at 6:30pm. The event will include a tasting of wines chosen by the wine connoisseur himself and a pairing of hors d'oeuvres from Steven Brand to complement the featured wines. Tickets can be found at the Harvard Book Store for $52, and include a signed copy of Oldman's Brave New World of Wine.
