Summer Shack Clambakes on Spectacle Island

Talk about a pleasant way to spend a summer evening, Jasper White's Summer Shack will be hosting weekly beachside clambakes on Spectacle Island. Take the ferry from Long Wharf and unwind on the brief-but-leisurely cruise to the island where a veritable feast of clambake classics - creamy clam chowder, steamed lobster, mussels, steamers, corn on the cob, new potatoes and chorizo - awaits you. Each $75 ticket covers transportation to and from the island, all the aforementioned foodstuffs, and beer and wine (without alcohol the price drops to $70). The ferry leaves at 6:30pm and returns at 9:00pm - perfect timing for a relaxing post-work summer evening. Order tickets online or call 617.770.0040.
