On Friday, February 5th head north to York, Maine where chef Evan Mallett of Portsmouth's Black Trumpet will be teaching a special class on food and wine pairings. Head into the Stonewall Kitchen cooking school and learn how to make fried almonds and olives with Fino sherry, oysters on the half shell with Muscadet, duck two ways with Oregon pinot noir and chocolate cake with petite sirah. The class, which runs from 6:00 to 7:30pm, costs $50 per person, a price which includes, demonstrations, tastings and a recipe packet.
