Island Clambakes with Summer Shack

Talk about a pleasant way to spend the evening - starting on Thursday, June 18th and running through September 3, Jasper White's Summer Shack will be hosting weekly beachside clambakes on Spectacle Island. Take the ferry from Long Wharf and unwind on the brief-but-leisurely cruise to the island where a veritable feast of clambake classics - creamy clam chowder, steamed lobster, mussels, steamers, corn on the cob, new potatoes and chorizo - awaits you. Each $75 ticket covers transportation to and from the island, all the aforementioned foodstuffs, and beer and wine (without alcohol the price drops to $70). The ferry leaves at 6:30pm and returns at 9:00pm - perfect timing for a relaxing post-work summer evening. To order tickets call Dina at 617.223.8040 or email her.
