Bargain Bites - unbelievable dining deals at Boston's best restaurants
This July 4th, watch the fireworks from one of Boston's most spectacular vantage points - the Top of the Hub, where they'll once again be hosting their annual Independence Day gourmet celebration. Begin the evening 52 floors above the city with a hors d'oeuvres and cocktail reception, followed by a fabulous five-course dinner lovingly prepared by chef Mark Porcaro. Dinner guests will get to view a simulcast of the Boston Pops concert and then, as the pièce de résistance, get bird's eye views of the fireworks spectacular at 10:30pm. This celebratory evening, which begins at 7:00pm, costs $200 per person. And, for those who just want to view the fireworks, the Skywalk Observatory will be admitting guests for the special price of $20 ($12 for kids under 12). Whether you prefer a full culinary feast or simply a feast for the eyes, spend your holiday at the Prudential this year. Reservations for the dinner are required in advance, so call 617.536.1775 if you intend to get one.
