From Sunday, May, 31st through Friday, June 6th, the Cape Cod Life Food & Wine Festival returns for its second year, so make your way down to the Cape to take part in this five day long ode to all things culinary. The fun starts on Sunday, May 31st with the Grand Tasting at the Rectrix Aerodrome in Hyannis from 3:00-6:00pm. Hosted by TV Diner's Billy Costa, the tasting, tickets for which cost $75 apiece, features bites from restaurants like the Chatham Bars Inn, Chillingsworth, Heather, Regatta of Cotuit, Siena and the Wianno Grille, among plenty of others. Boston-based mixologists Jackson Cannon of Eastern Standard and John Gertsen of Drink will be making the trip to showcase their behind-the-bar talents in a couple of demonstrations. Throughout the rest of the week there are Taste of Culture events from 4:00-6:00pm at some of the Cape's historic and artistic spots, so visitors can get the full cultural flavor of Cape Cod. To wrap up the festivities, the Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich host the Food & Wine Tasting Finale on Saturday, June 6th. Drop by from 5:00-8:00pm, with your $75 ticket in hand, to sample from area restaurants as you stroll through the grounds and the famous Dexter Rhododendrons.
