Bistro Duet has opened its doors in Arlington for diners in search of modern French fare. Former colleagues Cyrille Couet and Wayne Duprey have reunited since their days at Boston’s InterContinental Hotel to bring the brand-new restaurant into being. In the open kitchen, executive chef Couet prepares classic French dishes with a modern touch – think: steak frites, wild mushroom ragout and 48-hour coq au vin – while general manager Duprey oversees the 110-seat dining room. The beverage program is headed up by Wember Castillo (formerly of Oak Long Bar and Rumba), featuring local spirits and rare French liqueurs.
