Chef Rachel Klein is setting out on her own. After a number of executive chef positions over the years (OM, Aura, Asana, Liquid Art House), she’s returning to her hometown of Needham to open RFK Kitchen. The concept trades white linens for a more casual atmosphere without compromising the food or service, and Klein is excited to offer a standard menu in addition to nightly improvised tasting menus. The space promises a bar and lounge area, a dining room, and a 20-seat chef’s counter that surrounds an open kitchen. RFK Kitchen is set to open next spring for dinner service six nights a week, with lunch and brunch options to follow once the dust settles.
