If you’re Cape-bound this weekend, swing by Chatham to bid vers a fond farewell. Unable to come to an agreement with their landlord, the café and restaurant (and makers of this spectacular cocktail) will be closing up shop right after Labor Day. Co-owner Karen Haffmans, wife to chef Jonathan Haffmans, says they’re already busy scouting spots for a second vers, ideally opening in spring 2016. In the meantime, the pair will be doing some consulting and enjoying the Cape in the off-season.
