The team at Stir, with their passion for culinary education, has uncovered the secret to the perfect picnic basket and they’re ready to share. Once a month this summer, they’ll be packing a limited number of al fresco meals using ingredients from Sudbury’s Siena Farms. Each solid birch basket-built-for-two, available for $125 each, comes complete with utensils, house-made crackers, spreads, charcuterie by The Butcher Shop, salads or pickles, sandwiches, non-alcoholic beverages and dessert from No. 9 Park’s pasty chef, Mary Edinger. The picnic meal will vary based on the month’s theme: Classic Victorian in June, A Southern Affair in July and The Mediterranean Experience in August.
