Get Your Boston Lamb Jam Tix

If all the tasty dishes in the Recipe of the Week (in honor of Lamb Lovers Month) have got you in the mood for the other red meat, snap up your tickets for the fifth annual Boston Lamb Jam. Sponsored by the American Lamb Board, this year’s event brings together more than twenty chefs from Boston, Portsmouth, Providence and Portland for a lamb-y showdown at the Royal Sonesta on Sunday, April 13th. The main event, which runs from 3:00-6:00pm, includes bites from the kitchens of Alden & Harlow, ArtBar, Bistro du Midi, la Brasa, Citizen, The Fireplace, Henrietta’s Table, Red Lion Inn, Rialto, Sarma, Tavolo and The Terrace as well as Portland-based restaurants East Ender and Emilitsa, Portsmouth favorite, Moxy; and from Providence, New Rivers and Persimmon. But if that’s not enough lamb for you, you can grab VIP tickets to get in on an hour’s worth of craft cocktails and charcuterie from the likes of Dante de Magistris of dante, Louis DiBiccari of Tavern Road, Will Gilson of Puritan & Co., Jamie Bissonnette of Coppa and Toro. Between delicious bites, you’ll be able to enjoy butcher demonstrations, play in a photo booth and sample beer and wine from a host of winemakers and local breweries like Berkshire Brewing, High & Mighty, Jack’s Abby, Slumbrew and Smuttynose. Tickets, available online, cost $60 each for regular and $90 for VIP, though if you click through before the end of the month you can get $10 and $15 off, respectively. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Lovin’ Spoonfuls so get a move on and get yours before they’re all gone.
